As I wrap up my free inquiry on meditation, I wanted to dedicate a post for my reflections on the experience. It hasn’t been easy, and I haven’t always been on top of it, but I have learned more about meditation and myself. I have also learned new techniques and strategies to better incorporate meditation into my life.
I found setting a reminder to meditate has been a lot more helpful for keeping myself on track, rather than making a schedule. It gives me more flexibility and is a gentle reminder to make some time in my day to meditate, instead of forcing myself to do it at a certain time when I may not want to do it. I can always snooze a reminder and it will come up again, giving me another opportunity to fit meditation into my daily life.
I feel like I have gained some more tools for coping when life is stressful and gets to be too much. When life gets hard, I know I have this tool to get me through and all it requires is my self and my breath.
One of the most important things I’ve learned through this process is that no matter how little or how much time you spend meditating, it is always worth it.
Thank you for following me on this journey 🙂
Whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. What is soft is strong.
